Zudáñez
Chuquisaca Department · Culture and history
Zudáñez is named after Jaime Zudáñez, one of the leaders of the 1809 Chuquisaca uprising. The region was the scene of the independence guerrillas, and the little town keeps their memory. Today it's a quiet valley stop, with old streets and farmland all around.
