San Lorenzo
Tarija Department · Culture and history

San Lorenzo is one of the prettiest villages in the Tarija valley, with balconied houses and a shady square. You can visit the house of Eustaquio "Moto" Méndez, a hero of the wars of independence, and taste Chapaco cooking. In August, the San Lorenzo festival sets the chunchos dancing.
